Personal Digest Saturday: June 22 – June 28

Life news this week:

  • Saturday was lazy and I slept late because I needed it. Nice to be able to do that. :) Spent some of the day doing a transcript for my workplace and working on my blog. Also put away some packages that were lying around and did some dishes and played a game where I guess world flags. Recorded Polos.

  • Sunday I finished quizzing myself on world flags and have learned them for every country. I do weird things like that sometimes. I wrote my webcomic early because I'm busy on Friday, then did laundry, took out the trash, drew a little, and crammed in my steps while practicing music.

  • Monday I did a letter edit at work and we found out we were shortlisted for ANOTHER project too. When it rains it pours. I worked on support documents for it. I drew some more comic art and played the flag quiz game. Called our probate lawyer to discuss the unresolved stuff. (They did not answer my e-mails at all last week and it looks like it's because the person I was e-mailing no longer works there. That's the second time that's happened. Argh.) Also made some Polos and put away laundry.

  • Tuesday I had meetings and research to do. Then I drew comics and played the quiz game. I switched the decorations out to my midsummer displays. Ben and Scott were supposed to come over but they canceled again.

  • Wednesday I had some computer issues and some work to do for our yearly audit stuff. Sent a gift to my sister. Talked to Tony outside after he did the lawn and paid him the full amount for taking care of my mom's yard. Scott came by and gave me some Indian food (which he was originally going to bring me the day before but they canceled). I put it in the fridge and went out with Jeaux. We ate at Mandola's and did our shopping and came home. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a cute little Carolina Wren was sleeping on my porch again, just like last year! (It is the Return of Birdle!) We were both so excited. After Jeaux left I did some updates on my comic.

  • Thursday I did work on project research and not much else. Did some Polos and ate some snacks from my last Japanese snack box. Met my friends for game night and halfway through the first Presidential Debate started so I listened to it in one ear while playing the games and managed to multitask. Can't believe they used part of their time in this debate to argue about who's better at golf. I was live-texting reactions to it with my friend Yasmin while it was on. After the game night I got my steps while texting about the debate with Yasmin and Jeaux.

  • Friday I did my usual timesheets and project reports at work. Wrapped up my webcomic and posted it, then got steps in doing a Polo, and then sat down with Daria to finish Season 4 of Steven Universe for our podcast. (We recorded the episodes "Are You My Dad?" and "I Am My Mom.") Went to bed shortly after.
New Reviews:
Health Plan Update:

  • Weight stuff: Nothing drastic to report. I recorded a high of 123.0 and a low of 122.8, but didn't record anything most days.
  • Nutrition stuff: I didn't pay much attention this week as far as planning the balance (and I ate a lot of snacks from my snack box for two days), but the fruits and veggies are still plentiful and I'm getting at least one green vegetable almost every day. I am still regularly taking vitamins.
  • Activity stuff: I met my walking goal every day this week. My low day was Wednesday at 10,107 steps, and my high day was Monday at 11,492 steps.

Personal Digest Saturday: June 15 – June 21

    Life news this week:

    • Saturday I got up and went back to bed to sleep in because that's how I roll. Then I got up, had some cake, and worked on my blog. Listened to some Alanis Morissette music. Worked on my Negative One update project a bit.

    • Sunday I did the same trick of getting up briefly before going back to bed to sleep in. Weekends!! Got up and started laundry, worked on comic stuff, listened to Alanis, wrote the week's Negative One storyboard, researched some medical history, and listened to Alanis more. Made some plans for the upcoming recording with Daria.

    • Monday I got up for work. Found out we got shortlisted in a nearby district and agreed to be on the interview team. Also proofread two letters. Drew more than half of my comic. Made a doctor's appointment, canceled my mom's water service at her house that we just sold, requested and received a refund on the balance of her insurance policy, and navigated the escrow/taxes return for her house. Sent paperwork to the probate lawyer to do taxes on the sale of the house but didn't hear back yet.

    • Tuesday we had our internal meeting for upcoming projects, and I worked on research, teaming invites, and a transcript to help us study for the next shortlisted job. Finished Negative One drawings. Was supposed to hang out with my friends Ben and Scott but they canceled. Cleaned my bathroom and did dishes instead because I'm such a party girl.

    • Wednesday I got up and had a bunch of meetings. Did some timesheet data entry and ran some crash numbers. Jeaux came over on my lunch break and we grocery shopped early. He hung out while I went to another meeting and worked. Tree people came and looked at my tree because it dropped more big limbs, but they say it is fine. Jeaux and I prepared to go out and we ate at Five Guys before heading out to the Alanis Morissette concert. It rained a little but we didn't get too wet walking in. We got to see Joan Jett and then the main event with Alanis. Amazing! I knew all the words to all the songs except two I only knew parts of. Which makes it super fun to sing along. Jeaux and I hung out on the grounds for a while waiting for the place to clear out, and then we went back to my place to eat red velvet cake that he had made himself from scratch because it was a gift to celebrate selling Mom's house! We watched Colbert while eating it. Great day.

    • Thursday I worked a short time before heading out to a doctor's appointment. Walked to the store and picked up a prescription after. Went home and finished out the work day with two meetings and shortlist research. Ate a lot of cake. Took a nice two-hour nap before game night. Made some arrangements with an eBay buyer who wanted to buy one of Meg's listings. Played games with my friends and got steps while making a Polo for my sister after.

    • Friday I woke up to Daria canceling our recording because she's sick, so bummer! I was ready. Oh well! I got my reports done and sent out bothering e-mails to team members and organized more meetings. Got some steps, posted my comic, and watched reactions. Met with a local pickup eBay buyer and sold them a Disney castle. Worked on a transcript for work.

    • Weight stuff: Nothing drastic to report. I recorded a high of 122.9 and a low of 122.0.
    • Nutrition stuff: I had a couple days where I underate because I didn't get to eat breakfast until late. Low on protein two days, low on fat one day, high on fat three days, high on protein one day, mostly balanced otherwise. I had a lot of cake this week so that's probably responsible for some of these heights. I am still regularly taking vitamins.

Personal Digest Saturday: June 8 – June 14

      Life news this week:

      • Saturday I slept in, did some laundry and dishes, cleaned the dishwasher, watered my plants, and started cleaning the house. (No reason; it just needed it.) I also put up some nails to hold my brooms and cleaning stuff, so the area I keep that stuff in looks neater now. Vacuumed the non-carpet areas of the house and wiped my desk down. Finally got to relax a little, did my blogging, and did some reading.

      • Sunday I had a coffee and a smoothie before my dad picked me up for band practice. We had a really great practice despite having not been able to meet up for months. We had some sushi afterwards and he drove me home. Then once I got home I recorded and listened to Polos, did laundry, took out trash, learned a song, and did some more reading.

      • Monday we didn't have letters due at work so I just did some updates and research. I got a sale on eBay so I walked to the post office to drop it off. Then did some reports at work. After work, did some reading, photos scanning, and made a recording of the new song I learned. My sisters had their signing for the house so I talked them through some details. And wrapped up with some Polos.

      • Tuesday at work was more eventful because we had letters due. Did some research and team invitation as well as meetings. Did some cleaning, Polo-ing, and got annoyed that the poster I was supposed to get yesterday STILL wasn't delivered. My friends Ben and Scott came over and I made a pasta bake, salad, and garlic bread. We hung out, caught up, ate the dinner, and watched cartoons. After they left I made a Polo, did walking, and read the end of Cody's book.

      • Wednesday I had four meetings and did some project manager research. My poster STILL wasn't delivered. Jeaux and I ate at Vallarta's and grocery shopped. Watched Colbert and read each other silly internet things. After he left I wrote a blurb for Cody's book. Then cleaned up the house a little.

      • Thursday I fielded some communications and did some research. The mobile notary and my realtor stopped by for me to sign the closing documents for the house. I got to ask a few questions and everything seemed in order. I took one nap, sent my blurb in to the publisher, wrote my webcomic's storyboard, and practiced music. Made a cake for my dad that looks like a big donut. Went to game night with my friends, and after game night I made the icing for the cake and drizzled it, then cleaned up the dishes. Drew some comics.

      • Friday was more of the usual work stuff--timesheets and reports. Drew the rest of my comic and got done early. Dad came over after work to celebrate Father's Day a little early since he was gonna be busy over the weekend. He and I watched birds, went to Queen of Sheba for Ethiopian food, went home to look at photos, and had some of the cake. I sent some home with him. After he left I finished posting my comic. Then I received my closing documents for the official house closing and went to bed early.

      Health Plan Update:

      • Weight stuff: I didn't get a lot of readings this week. I recorded a high of 122.5 and a low of 122.1.
      • Nutrition stuff: Every day this week I had a pretty good low-fat diet except for Wednesday when I ate out with Jeaux. Usually I'm doing very well with the balance of protein and carbs. I'm pretty satisfied with it, and am still eating several servings of fruits and veggies every day. I am still regularly taking vitamins.
      • Activity stuff: I met my walking goal every day this week. My low day was Tuesday at 10,055 steps, and my high day was Sunday at 11,490 steps.
