Personal Digest Saturday - January 24 – January 30

Life news this week:

  • Saturday I had to get up early to go to band practice. Dad took me to Sarasota and we ran through all our songs and made recordings. We finally picked a name for our band: VINYL IMPACT! We stopped for a late lunch on the way home at Ruby Tuesdays and then once I got home I crashed for a nap for a while. When I got up I did my exercise (DDR!) and got some more steps in, and I got a really cool Steven Universe collectible delivered. I had some leftover birthday cake, worked on my blog, and went to bed relatively early despite the nap.

  • Sunday I read some old journal stuff in association with my photo project, read some of the book I'm reading, did laundry and took out trash, made a video for my asexuality channel, updated my voice acting site with a couple new roles, sang a karaoke song, and recorded the voice-over work for the final episode of Dracula. (That took a lot longer than I expected and kept me up late.)

  • Monday I went back to work. My boss informed me that he would no longer be able to go with me to the Utility Coordination and EOR presentation the next day so we made some arrangements for me to go with another coworker. Spent the day updating timesheet stuff, updating report databases, and researching new projects. After work I made an order from Hot Topic, packed my stuff for the long ride the next day, played DDR, and processed my new video. I stayed up too late, unfortunately.

  • Tuesday I got up at 5 AM so I could get picked up at 6 by my coworker. We had a very quiet ride--I took one small nap, but beyond that I mostly read my old journal (the last one!). We stopped at Wendy's for breakfast and made it to the District 5 DOT almost on time, but parking was hard. We ended up in the overflow room and stayed for the three-hour presentation. I took a bunch of notes and then we went back toward Tampa. I got some drawing done and finished reading the journal for the year 2000. We stopped at the restaurant Hyderabad Biryani for Indian food in Tampa and my coworker gave me tips on how to eat it. I had enough leftovers for an entire second meal. After I got home I finished up some work online and took a nap. Then I got up and processed the journal stuff I'd researched, did some Polos, put away laundry, finished processing my video, turned in my lines for Dracula, read a book, and went to bed.

  • Wednesday I had early foot therapy again. After I got out I worked on negotiating teams, processing notes from the presentation, and going to a surprise meeting. After work I played DDR and submitted a query. Jeaux came early because he was coming straight from a doctor's appointment. We ate at Mandola's and did our shopping. Then we just read each other silly stuff like usual. After he left I tried to finish the photo gallery but I got too sleepy.

  • Thursday I went to a planning meeting, did some data entry, and paid bills. Finally finished processing the year 2000 photo gallery. It gets more difficult from here going back in time since I don't have consistent journals before that. I read the last chapters of the book I was reading, submitted a short story, and practiced a song I promised to cover for someone's birthday. Listened to all our band rehearsal songs and wrote up notes. Sent a Polo to my sister. Went to game night and finished drawing my comic. And submitted another couple of short stories.

  • Friday I was up early for therapy again. I don't think it's helping much. Came home and worked--did some timesheet stuff and report processing. Someone bought a poster from my eBay that I didn't think would ever sell, which motivated me to put some other items on eBay so that if they sold quickly I would be able to include them in my trek to the post office. Got three more sales! Worked on my comic, packaged the items for my eBay sales, played DDR, and sent a Polo to my sister. Wrote book reviews.
Health Plan Update:

  • Nutrition stuff: I got my three servings of fruits and veggies every day this week, but I only met my protein goals twice out of seven days. I think I'm going to focus on this next week and see if I can nail it the majority of the week.

  • Activity stuff: I'm continuing to do DDR every other day. I made my 10,000-step walking goal every day this week. Based on my phone's app, my low day was Monday at 10,130 steps, and my high day was Sunday at 14,639 steps.
Books Read:

  • Finished Reading: Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. Two-star review.

  • Currently Reading: The Rise of Kyoshi by F.C. Yee. I'm just starting.

    Videos Made:

Letters to an Asexual #133 (Curiosity!) is out. In this video, I discuss whether people's curiosity entitles them to ask personal questions. I also discuss loneliness in the course of answering a person's question.
